Community Circle
These FREE, virtual community gatherings are hosted bi-weekly by one of our core team members bring together social entrepreneur leaders and educators to share space around the common goal to design a better world through social entrepreneurship. These hour-long sessions are a mix between a learning moment and a participatory design session. This is a cameras on and engaging Circle meant to push all our thinking and move us into action. We promise you will leave wanting more!
We’ve hosted over 60 members during these Circles since 2018. If you find these Community Circles are enough for you, then keep coming! If you would like to be more involved and inspired, consider joining an Impact Circle or a Workshop.
APRIL 20, 8PM EST
Two of our social impact educators will be sharing tools they use in their innovative teaching approaches - join us as we explore, discuss and try some tools out, too!
Meghan Cureton will share the Diffusion Curve, a tool to help us map our own innovator tendencies across multiple aspects of our lives. We can use this information to better understand the work we do, how we show up, and explore ways that we can use the Diffusion Curve as a catalyst for social good in our own contexts.
Annie Makela will share a tool she uses frequently with students and educators at the Scott Center for Social Entrepreneurship, the S Curve of Entrepreneurship. The S Curve identifies four critical stages of turning an idea into meaningful impact, and helps people identify their personal flow zone and stretch zones. It can be applied to small and large scale projects, and bridges the worlds of education and economics.
