We hope you will join us for our next round of Impact Circles starting in January. We are building a community of people who are looking to tip the scales of an unjust world towards equitability and opportunity. It will take all of us working in our respective lanes to make this a reality, which is why we created Impact Circles as a new form of professional development, community engagement and an effort to break down silos of like minded folks around the world. These small-by-design learning cohorts are intentionally designed to amplify the changemaker and activist in each participant. What are Impact Circles?

Impact Circles are an intentionally small, virtual, and cohort-based 6-week PD experience. The Impact.Ed team does the calendaring, agenda-setting, general organizing, 1:1 coaching, and other behind the scenes work to allow you to focus on convening, contributing, and connecting with others in a meaningful and impactful environment. We know the antidote to anxiety and frustration of challenges happening in the world is action and agency and these circles are designed intentionally with that purpose in mind. This particular Circle will hold the book Anti-Oppressive Education in “Elite” Schools at the heart of our time together.

These circles, in their most successful form, will allow you to:

• develop relationships that last and grow your social impact network and social capital

• experiment with new ideas and frameworks that can be applied to your personal and professional work

• receive coaching and advice, and ultimately restore and rejuvenate around the social impact work you do in your own context.

• contribute and co-author an upcoming Impact Paper highlighting your work around social impact education (AKA: there is an end goal of each circle and we love that you will be able to share your published work for years to come). Checkout a previously published paper here.
